MoovDubai provides professional moving and relocation services in Ajman, including transportation of household or office items, packing/unpacking, loading/unloading, and basic furniture assembly/disassembly. We will perform services at the location(s) and times agreed in writing (e.g. online booking confirmation). Any special requests (piano moving, long staircase, heavy item requiring lift, etc.) should be disclosed at booking.
You may book a move via our website or by phone. A contract forms when we confirm your booking and receipt of any required deposit. You must provide accurate pickup and drop-off details. We will dispatch a moving crew and truck as scheduled. Payment is due upon completion of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, major credit cards, or bank transfer. All prices include UAE VAT; an official VAT invoice will be issued.
Our pricing is based on the number of movers, hours of work, truck usage, distance, and any materials (boxes, blankets) provided. We will provide a rate or estimate in advance. You agree to pay the quoted price unless additional services or delays occur (at our published hourly rates). Price quotes given before surveying the actual move may be subject to adjustment if actual volume or distance differs significantly. Any extra time or services required on moving day will be charged according to our standard rates (e.g. AED/hour per mover).
If you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time, no cancellation fee applies; deposits will be fully refunded or applied to the new date. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior will incur a fee (e.g. AED 200, or any non-refundable deposit). We may cancel or reschedule in events of severe weather, unsafe conditions, or unforeseen circumstances; in such cases we will notify you promptly and offer an alternative date or full refund.
We are not licensed to transport hazardous materials (e.g., flammable, explosive, or toxic substances). Such items must not be packed for the move. We also do not move pets, plants, or perishable food. If such items are present, you assume all risk for them.
Our crews are trained to handle goods carefully. Carrier Liability: Under UAE Commercial Law, we are liable for loss or damage to your items from the time they are loaded onto our vehicle until delivery and unloading. You must report any loss or damage in writing within 24 hours of delivery. We will repair or replace damaged items up to their declared value or refund transport charges, whichever is lower. In no case will our liability exceed a pre-agreed amount (for example, AED 500 per truckload), unless a higher value is specifically declared and agreed in writing beforehand.
We cannot accept liability for items that are inherently fragile or get damaged by their nature (e.g., unboxed glass) unless this was caused by our negligence. After unloading, we are no longer responsible for items.
High-Value Items: If you wish to move valuables (cash, jewelry, artwork), you must declare their presence in writing before the move. By default, we are not liable for these items beyond the amount listed on our invoice (in accordance with Article 313 of the UAE Commercial Code). We strongly recommend insuring valuables separately.
Insurance: We maintain basic liability insurance for covered moves. This typically covers accidental damages during transit. It does not cover wear-and-tear or hidden defects. Additional transit insurance can be purchased for an extra fee if desired.
Sometimes we may use third-party providers (e.g. specialist movers or cleaning contractors) to assist. In such cases, your contract remains with MoovDubai, and we oversee their work. We ensure any subcontractor complies with our service standards and legal obligations.
You must ensure pathways and elevator access are clear and that parking is available for our truck. If additional labor or equipment is needed on-site (e.g. extra movers, hoisting crane, large lift), we will coordinate this at your expense. You warrant that all persons involved are lawfully permitted on the property to grant us access.
All content on moovdubai.com (logos, text, images) is our intellectual property. You may not use it without our permission.
Your personal data supplied for the service will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By agreeing to these Terms, you consent to our use of your data for moving and related communications.
These Terms are governed by UAE federal law (and Ajman local regulations where applicable). Any dispute arising from these terms or services shall be resolved amicably or, if needed, by courts in the UAE (Ajman or Dubai/UAE courts) under UAE law.
Except as set forth in Section 6, in no event will MoovDubai be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of use or profits) arising from our services. Our total liability for any claim, whether in contract or tort, will not exceed the amount you paid for the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for gross negligence or fraudulent acts.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control (e.g. traffic closures, extreme weather, acts of God). In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule.
